CERTESS ® N Chromium Nitride Coating

CERTESS N is an excellent hard chrome replacement for many applications.

CERTESS N Chromium Nitride coating is a hard (1800 HV) PVD film, which is typically deposited in the thickness range of 2 to 8 μm.

Chromium Nitride PVD coatings provide temperature resistance up to 700°C - higher than titanium nitride coatings. Like most HEF PVD coatings, CERTESS N is chemically inert.

Applications include stamping & forming dies; plastic and rubber molds, and mechanical components requiring high resistance to abrasive wear, sliding wear and chemical corrosion.

CERTESS N is an excellent hard chrome replacement.
